Pre-Shift Notes
The big board everyone reads before service.
Each line is its own note. Easiest way: select text, then tap a button below. Typing by hand: **stars** = bold, __underscores__ = underline, ==equals== = gold, %%percents%% = red.
Format selection:select text in any note, then tap
Front of House
Updates, 86's, and anything the line needs.
Start a line with 86 to flag it red for the kitchen.
Reservations
Tonight's covers and the big tables.
Just the number.
Put the size like 12-top. Start with VIP to flag it gold.
Specials
Today's features. Leave any blank to hide it. Add a price by ending with | price — e.g. Pan-seared Hogfish | 32
Shoutout & Contest
Morale stuff — each gets its own celebration page.
Leave blank to hide that page from the rotation.
A colon makes a gold title. Add a prize with | prize — e.g. Dessert Challenge: most pies wins | $50 gift card. Add more than one and they rotate.
Floor Plan — Section Assignments
Set both shifts. The TV shows Lunch before 3:30pm and Dinner after. Type a server, then tap their tables.
Type a name above, then tap tables to assign them.
Recent 5-Star Reviews
Copy great reviews from TripAdvisor or Google. Each rotates on its own page.
Format each as Review text | First name | Source. Example: Best grouper in Florida! | Sarah | TripAdvisor. The five gold stars are added automatically.
This Month's Birthdays
Paste the whole month's list at once — one person per line. It sorts and formats automatically.
Accepts messy paste like Aramis Velasquez 7/4 or Harrison Hayes - 7/14, one per line. Dashes optional. Then hit Add these.
Employee of the Month
Runs all month. The board flips between a congrats intro and their favorites. Leave the name blank for a "Coming Soon" placeholder. Blank fields are hidden automatically.
Upload the photo to Google Photos, get a shareable link, and paste it. Direct upload comes with the next upgrade. Blank shows their initials.

Birthday Settings
These control how the board's birthday page behaves. Managers still add the names in their Birthdays tab.
Board Announcement Override
A full-screen message that takes over the TV (e.g. private event, early close). Leave blank for normal rotation.
Board Settings
When the board flips to the dinner floor chart + night theme. Default 3:30 PM.
Floor style: Classic is flat, Tilted adds depth. If names get hard to read from across the room, just untick this and save.
Manager List
These names show on the login picker. Add, rename, or remove — takes effect next time someone opens the portal.
